My journey to New York City has been delayed by several fortunate detours. I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela and attended high school in Miami Beach, Florida. As a freshman in the Liberal Studies Program, I studied at NYU's Villa La Pietra in Florence, Italy and spent my summer in Prague, Czech Republic before finally coming to the Washington Square campus. I am a member of the LS Dean's Circle, and a volunteer with the President's C-Team. I dance with the Ballroom and Latin Dance Club. During Winter Break, I was fortunate to participate in a community service project in the Dominican Republic through the NYU Alternative Breaks program. I have an on-campus job at the Office of University Development and Alumni Relations and am interning at Human Rights Watch. I am also an NYU Admissions Ambassador and a Resident Advisor (RA) in the dorms. With so many resources available at NYU and in New York City, your NYU experience will be filled with accomplishments and great experiences.
